The main objective of the project was to renovate and commemorate the late Queen Alia’s crash location in Qiba’a area. The entrance gate that resembles an olive tree highlights the surrounding nature which was lit using a wall washing linear in-ground recessed light, that can also withstand up to 5 tons drive over weight. Some of ICC’s creative ideas included adjustable optic outdoor beam projectors to light the trees, so as to change the beam depending on the tree size and type. The main memorial was lit using a trimless in-ground recessed linear light, asymmetrically lit only on the memorial and minimize glare on visitors walking by.
